Polyacrylonitrile Filter BagOverview:
This is a filter bag with a wide range of applications.
Material:
Polyacrylonitrile Homopolymer (PAN): A nonwoven, needle-punched material.
It offers excellent air permeability and abrasion resistance.
Advantages:
Polyacrylonitrile is often used as a substitute for polyester fabrics, especially in cases where the process temperature does not exceed 125°C and hydrolysis and moisture are significant issues.
Since hydrolysis is a reaction that can accelerate the deterioration of fibers, and polyacrylonitrile is resistant to hydrolysis, it is ideally suited for such applications.
Applications:
Coal mines
Thermal power plants
Spray drying processes
Temperature Characteristics:
Operating Temperature: Up to 125°C
Peak Temperature: Up to 140°C
Chemical Resistance:
Good resistance to hydrolysis, acids, and oxidation.
Additional Treatments:
PTFE membrane
Oil-water repellent treatment
