Cartridge Filters – Compact Filtration Systems for Industrial Dust Removal
Cartridge filters are small filtration units designed for the dry purification of industrial dust. They effectively capture grinding dust, various gases, aerosols, dyes, fine metal and plastic particles, and more. The key advantage of cartridge filtration systems is their compact size. This is achieved through the use of pleated nonwoven filter elements with various properties, significantly increasing the filtration surface area.
However, this advantage also presents a drawback—pleated elements are more difficult to regenerate. For this reason, cartridge filters are typically used in environments where air pollution levels do not exceed 10 g/m³, while the air purity at the outlet ranges from 1 to 20 mg/m³, depending on the type of filter media. Compared to bag filters, cartridge filters provide higher performance (cleaning a larger volume of air per unit of time), making them an excellent choice for large industrial spaces.
Harmonia-Technofilter designs and manufactures DTP-C cartridge filters with capacities ranging from 100 to 110,000 m³/h.
