Depending on the material used, filtration is possible for:- Large particles: from 1000 µm to 100 µm (for mesh materials).
- Fine particles: from 200 µm to 1 µm (for nonwoven materials).
Materials
The most practical materials for filter bag production are polyester and nylon. However, if resistance to acids or alkalis is required, filter bags can be made from polypropylene or PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene).
