Purpose
A screw conveyor is a transporter designed for moving and metered feeding of small-piece, bulk, dust-like, or powdery materials in horizontal, vertical, or inclined directions.
Design Features
Screw conveyors have a uniform structure and differ only in the design of the housing (inclined or horizontal, open or closed), the diameter and shape of the screw, the parameters of the screw blades, and the screw type (solid, paddle, etc.).
The main advantage of screw conveyors is their tight sealing. Their design prevents material spillage or dispersion. Using screw transport, fully enclosed technological lines can be assembled.
