Вловлювач інерційний горизонтальний
Straight-flow Cyclone – a mechanical dust collector that separates dust from the gas-air mixture as it flows through the system. It is designed for purifying air from medium and coarse, dry dust generated during metalworking, bulk material handling, and other processes.
  • Installation: The cyclone is installed horizontally, often directly within the ventilation duct (inset), and is generally used as a coarse/preliminary filter.
  • Operating Conditions:
    • Axial Air Velocity: Must be at least 12 m/s.
    • Air Temperature: Must not exceed +110°C.
    • Safety: The air being cleaned should not contain explosive mixtures.
  • Working Principle: The operation of the straight-flow cyclone is based on centrifugal forces generated by the swirling motion of the gas-air mixture inside the cyclone housing. At the inlet, the airflow is given a swirl by a specially designed axial distributor. As a result of centrifugal forces, large dust particles are thrown against the cyclone walls and directed through a lateral pipe into the dust collector. Additionally, cylindrical louvered baffles inside the housing provide further dust removal, ensuring high efficiency. The end result is clean air at the outlet.
  • Maintenance: When operated at the recommended airflow rates and with non-caking dry dust, the straight-flow cyclone does not require cleaning of the internal surfaces or the louvered grid. Nonetheless, the design allows for disassembly, dismantling, and blowing with compressed air when needed.
